What’s a Riveter? Glad you asked! A riveter is a tool used to install a “rivet”; a permanent mechanical fastener, often consisting of a cylindrical shaft with a head on one end and a tail on the other. The riveter inserts the rivet into a pre-made hole, and then buckles the tail end of the rivet, expanding it and holding it in place.
