The Car-Rep Effect Spray 400ml is a high-gloss decorative acrylic spray paint designed to create an eye-catching metallic-effect finish on indoor projects. Available in Chrome, Gold and Copper, this fast-drying spray provides excellent coverage and a bright, shiny decorative surface. Suitable for metal, wood, glass and most compatible artificial surfaces, Car-Rep Effect Spray is ideal for decorative pieces, restoration projects, crafts, displays and customised indoor finishes.

Coverage & Drying Times

Approximate Coverage: 1–2m² per 400ml can.

At approximately 20°C and 50% relative humidity:

• Dust-dry: Approx. 30 minutes
• Touch-dry: Approx. 2 hours
• Completely dry: Approx. 48 hours

Application Instructions

Ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and free from oil, grease, dirt, wax and loose rust. Shake the aerosol can thoroughly before use and test the product on a small, inconspicuous area to confirm compatibility and the desired finish.

Spray several thin, even coats from approximately 15cm away. Two coats are recommended to achieve adequate film thickness, allowing approximately 5 minutes between coats.

After use, turn the can upside down and spray until only propellant is released to help clean the nozzle. Remove any excess paint from the nozzle if necessary.

Car-Rep Effect Spray is designed primarily for decorative applications and has limited wear and weather resistance. For improved resistance, a compatible Car-Rep Clear Coat Effect Spray is recommended once the painted surface has completely dried.

Important: Do not polish the finished effect surface, as polishing can flatten or reduce the distinctive decorative effect.
