Application & Curing
After application, allow the painted surface to dry at approximately +20°C for 30 minutes.
To achieve the coating's final properties, the painted surface should then be heated at approximately +200°C for 60 minutes.
When applying multiple coats, the surface should also be appropriately heated between applications according to the manufacturer's instructions. Correct heat curing is an important part of achieving the intended performance of the finished coating.
The Car-Rep Heat Resistant Spray is a practical choice for automotive, workshop and household applications where conventional paint may not withstand operating temperatures. From exhaust components and chimneys to fireplaces and boilers, its specialised formulation provides a durable finish for correctly prepared high-temperature surfaces. Choose Silver for applications requiring heat resistance up to 600°C or Black for applications up to 400°C.
Application Note: Always ensure the surface is clean, dry and properly prepared before painting. Do not use the coating on surfaces that will exceed the maximum temperature rating of the selected colour. Follow all manufacturer application, curing and safety instructions.
