The Car-Rep Wrinkle Spray Paint 400ml is a textured acrylic coating designed to create a deep, distinctive wrinkle finish on metal surfaces. Available in Black, Red and Silver, it combines genuine acrylic binders with high-quality colour pastes for excellent coverage, a hard protective coating and a customised appearance. Ideal for automotive components such as valve covers, metal dashboards, starters, door panels, shifters, alternators and firewalls, the texture can be adjusted during application by changing the spraying distance.

The Car-Rep Wrinkle Spray Paint is an excellent choice for giving automotive and metal components a distinctive textured finish while adding a hard layer of protection. The final texture can be controlled through spraying distance: spraying from further away creates a rougher, more pronounced structure, while spraying closer produces a smoother texture. This makes it easy to tailor the finish to suit restoration work, custom builds or personal styling projects.

For application, begin with a thin coat from approximately 25cm away and allow it to dry for around one minute. Follow with a wet coat to establish good adhesion. The texture can then be adjusted by varying the spraying distance between approximately 20cm and 60cm. Allow each layer to become touch-dry before applying the next. Multiple coats sprayed from a greater distance can be used to build additional structure.

Important: When building texture from a greater distance, the spray mist becomes drier and the surface may initially appear uneven. Once the desired structure has been achieved, apply a final wet coat to properly cover the surface and improve scratch resistance. Avoid applying excessively thick or wet coats during texture building, as this can reduce the wrinkle effect. Always follow the manufacturer's preparation, application and safety instructions.
