Compared to earlier fighters, the Spad XIII had more engine power, more maneuverability and stronger armament. All those changes brought the Allies up to parity with the aircraft of the Central Powers. Thousands of the aircraft took to the skies, filling both French and new American squadrons. These planes battered German flying forces, helping bring the war to a close. Kit features structured surfaces, detailed engine, moveable wheels and prop, twin Vickers machine guns, a pilot figure, two ground crew figures and two decal sets.
